Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Tenders are crispy, juicy, and full of bold buffalo flavor without deep-frying. Tender chicken strips are coated in seasoned flour, air-fried to golden perfection, and tossed in tangy buffalo sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners, game day, or snack time.

Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

2 large eggs

1 tablespoon water

1 tablespoon hot sauce

1 pound chicken tenderloins

24 tablespoons buffalo sauce

Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a shallow bowl.
  2. Whisk eggs, water, and hot sauce in another bowl until smooth.
  3. Dip each chicken tender in the egg mixture, then dredge in the flour mixture, coating evenly.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray basket with olive oil.
  5. Arrange chicken tenders in a single layer, lightly spray tops with olive oil.
  6. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until chicken is cooked and crispy.
  7. Toss cooked tenders in buffalo sauce and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
