Ingredients

Chicken Drumsticks

  • 8 chicken drumsticks

Seasoning

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp celtic sea salt
  • 1 tsp fresh cracked pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cumin

Optional Dipping Sauce

  • 1 cup Ranch dressing
  • 1 tsp hot sauce (preferably Sriracha)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Seasoning: In a small bowl, combine the celtic sea salt, fresh cracked pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cumin. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Coat Chicken: Place the chicken drumsticks in a large bowl or plastic bag. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat all pieces evenly.
  3. Apply Seasoning: Sprinkle the prepared herb and spice mixture evenly over the drumsticks, ensuring they are well coated on all sides.
  4. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 2 to 10 minutes depending on your model’s requirement.
  5. Cook First Side: Place the drumsticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 400°F for 10 minutes.
  6. Flip Drumsticks: Carefully remove the basket and flip each drumstick to promote even cooking.
  7. Cook Second Side: Return the basket to the air fryer and cook at 400°F for another 10 minutes.
  8. Check Temperature: Use a digital thermometer to check the internal temperature of the drumsticks. If not yet 165°F, cook for an additional 5 minutes to ensure food safety.
  9. Serve: Once the chicken reaches 165°F internally, remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.
  10. Optional Dipping Sauce: Mix the Ranch dressing and hot sauce (Sriracha) for a spicy dipping sauce. Adjust hot sauce quantity to taste. Enjoy!
