Ingredients

18 oz (500 g) fingerling potatoes, washed (cut larger ones in half)

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 garlic cloves, sliced

1 teaspoon smoked paprika powder

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry fingerling potatoes, slicing larger ones in half.
  2. In a large bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil, garlic, smoked paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper until coated.
  3. Place potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. Cook at 200°C (390°F) for 18–20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  5. Check doneness: golden brown outside and tender inside. Serve immediately.

Notes

Swap thyme for rosemary or oregano for a different herbal note.

Sprinkle Parmesan or nutritional yeast for a cheesy flavor.

Add cayenne pepper or chili flakes for extra spice.

Finish with lemon juice or fresh parsley for brightness.

Roast in the oven at 200°C (390°F) for 25–30 minutes as an alternative.
