A refreshing and vibrant Aperol cocktail with sparkling wine, soda water, and a striking black sugar rim for a slightly bitter-sweet and bubbly drink.

Ingredients

1 ounce Aperol

1 tablespoon black sugar

3 ounces Prosecco or sparkling wine

3 ounces sparkling water or club soda

1 slice orange (for rim and garnish)

Instructions

  1. Run the orange slice around the rim of the glass.
  2. Dip the rim into black sugar to coat evenly.
  3. Fill the glass with ice.
  4. Pour in the Aperol, then add the Prosecco.
  5. Top with sparkling water or club soda.
  6. Stir gently and garnish with the orange slice before serving.

Notes

Substitute champagne for Prosecco for a more luxurious version.
