A cozy fall twist on the classic Aperol spritz made with blood orange juice, apple cider, and sparkling wine for a festive, bubbly seasonal cocktail.

Ingredients

½ cup ice

3 ounces Aperol

2 ounces blood orange juice

2 ounces apple cider

1 splash soda water or Prosecco (Champagne optional)

3 ounces Prosecco, Champagne, or sparkling wine

1 slice blood orange, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Fill a large wine glass or stemless glass with ice.
  2. Pour in the Aperol, blood orange juice, and apple cider.
  3. Add the Prosecco, Champagne, or sparkling wine.
  4. Finish with a splash of soda water or extra bubbles if desired.
  5. Stir gently to combine and garnish with a slice of blood orange before serving.

Notes

Swap blood orange juice with regular orange juice if needed.

Add a cinnamon stick or star anise for extra fall spice.

Sweeten with simple syrup or honey if preferred.

Skip the sparkling wine and just use soda water for a lighter version.

Best served fresh, as bubbles fade quickly.
