Apple Cider Sangria is a refreshing and festive drink that combines crisp apples, juicy oranges, pomegranate seeds, and warm spices with white wine and apple cider. Lightly sweetened and topped with sparkling water, it’s perfect for autumn gatherings or holiday parties.

Ingredients

2 apples, roughly chopped

1 orange, sliced

¼ cup pomegranate seeds

1 bottle white wine (Pinot Grigio recommended)

2 ½ cups fresh apple cider

2 cinnamon sticks

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

½ teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger (optional)

1 cup carbonated water or club soda

For Garnish:

Additional fruit

Paleo caramel for the rim of the glass (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine chopped apples, orange slices, pomegranate seeds, white wine, apple cider, cinnamon sticks, honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, and ginger if using.
  2. Stir well and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably 4–6 hours, to allow flavors to meld.
  3. Just before serving, add carbonated water or club soda for a fizzy touch.
  4. Serve over ice and garnish with extra fruit and paleo caramel on the rim, if desired.

Notes

Swap white wine for sparkling wine or rosé for a different flavor profile.

Add a splash of brandy or bourbon for extra kick.

Use different seasonal fruits like pears, cranberries, or figs.

Infuse with fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme for an aromatic twist.

Make sugar-free by skipping honey or maple syrup and relying on fruit and cider sweetness.
