Ingredients

1 pound chicken breast or chicken thighs.

3 tablespoons honey,3 tablespoons Dijon mustard (grainy Dijon preferred).

2 tablespoons olive oil,1 garlic clove, finely minced or grated.

Optional: ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (for a bit of heat),Freshly ground salt and black pepper

Instructions

In a bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper until well combined.,Add chicken pieces to the marinade, coating evenly. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours in the fridge for deeper flavor.,For baking: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).,For grilling: Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
