Baked yogurt is a creamy, elegant dessert with a smooth texture, perfectly balanced sweetness, and a burst of fresh berries. It’s easy to make and can be customized with various fruits and toppings.

Ingredients

2 cups Greek yogurt

4 large eggs

1/4 cup maple syrup, or honey

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 tablespoons cornstarch

1 1/2 cups berries, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish or ramekins with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, eggs, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Add the cornstarch to the mixture and whisk again until the cornstarch is fully dissolved and the mixture is lump-free.
  4. Gently fold in 1 cup of the berries, making sure they are evenly distributed.
  5. Pour the yogurt mixture into the prepared baking dish or divide it evenly into ramekins.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the yogurt has set and the top is slightly golden. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for about 10 minutes.
  8. Once cooled, top with the remaining 1/2 cup of fresh berries for added color and flavor.
  9. Serve warm or chilled, depending on your preference.

Notes

Leftover baked yogurt can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days in an airtight container.

For a vegan version, use plant-based yogurt and substitute eggs with a vegan egg replacer or silken tofu.

For a tropical twist, you can use fruits like mango or peaches instead of berries.

If using frozen berries, thaw and drain them to avoid excess moisture.

Baked yogurt can also be made in individual ramekins for an elegant presentation.
