Ingredients

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

4 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 ½ cups powdered sugar

1 egg

½ teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or extract

Pinch of kosher salt

1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

¼ cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Beat butter and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add powdered sugar and beat until combined. Mix in egg, vanilla, and salt.
  4. Gradually add flour and baking powder, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  5. Combine granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  6. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and roll each in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place on prepared baking sheet 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until set but soft in the center. Cool 5 minutes on sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
