A vibrant, mocktail made with ginger kombucha, blackberry jam, and lime juice. Fizzy, fruity, and garnished with mint, lime, and blackberries, it’s a refreshing twist on the classic mule.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups ginger kombucha

2 oz lime juice

2 oz blackberry jam

Lime wedge, for garnish

Fresh mint, for garnish

Fresh blackberries, for garnish

Candied ginger, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add lime juice and blackberry jam to a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake until the jam is fully dissolved and the mixture is chilled.
  3. Strain into a mule mug or glass filled with ice.
  4. Top with ginger kombucha and gently stir to combine.
  5. Garnish with lime wedge, mint, blackberries, and candied ginger.

Notes

Best made fresh since kombucha loses fizz quickly.

Mix lime juice and jam ahead of time, then add kombucha just before serving.

Swap in raspberry or blueberry jam for a twist.

Add muddled fresh ginger for more spice or honey for sweetness.

Use sparkling water instead of kombucha for a lighter version.
