A creamy and flavorful white pizza featuring mozzarella, sautéed broccoli, garlic, pine nuts, and fresh basil. Topped with parmesan, this simple and quick dish is perfect for a healthy, veggie-packed meal.

Ingredients

¼ cup pine nuts

8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese

1 tablespoon Restaurant-Style Olive Oil Bread Dip

1 (10.8 oz) bag frozen steam-in-bag broccoli cuts or florets, thawed

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

2 pinches kosher salt

1 pinch fresh cracked pepper

½ small red onion, thinly sliced

1 precooked thin pizza crust

¼ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or baking sheet.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add the thawed broccoli, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender. Remove from heat.
  3. Toast the pine nuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Place the precooked pizza crust on the baking sheet. Spread the mozzarella cheese evenly over the crust, then top with the sautéed broccoli mixture. Scatter the red onion and toasted pine nuts over the top.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the crust edges are golden.
  6. Remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle with freshly grated parmesan cheese. Garnish with chopped basil leaves before serving.

Notes

Drizzle with balsamic glaze for a sweet touch before serving.

For a spicy kick, sprinkle red pepper flakes on top of the pizza before baking.

Feel free to use provolone or goat cheese instead of mozzarella for a different flavor.

Top with panko breadcrumbs for a crispy, crunchy finish.
