Buffalo Chicken Dumplings combine the spicy flavor of buffalo sauce with juicy ground chicken, all wrapped in tender dumpling wrappers. Topped with fresh veggies and served with buffalo sauce for dipping, these dumplings are perfect as an appetizer or light meal.

Ingredients

For the dumplings:

1 pound ground chicken

⅓ cup finely diced celery

¼ cup finely diced carrots

¼ cup sliced green onions

3 tablespoons buffalo sauce

Kosher salt, as needed

Freshly ground black pepper, as needed

35 circle dumpling wrappers

For serving:

½ cup buffalo sauce, warmed

Shaved celery

Shaved carrots

2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling: In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, diced celery, carrots, green onions, buffalo sauce, kosher salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
  2. Assemble the dumplings: Place a small spoonful of chicken mixture onto each dumpling wrapper. Wet the edges with water and fold over to form a half-moon shape. Seal the edges tightly.
  3. Cook the dumplings: Bring a large pot of water to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Drop the dumplings into the water and cook for 4-6 minutes, or until they float to the top and are fully cooked.
  4. Prepare the serving ingredients: While the dumplings cook, warm the buffalo sauce and shave the celery and carrots.
  5. Serve: Remove the dumplings from the water and set them on a plate. Top with shaved celery, carrots, and thinly sliced green onions. Drizzle with warmed buffalo sauce for dipping.

Notes

For a spicier version, add extra buffalo sauce or hot sauce to the filling.

If you’d like to add cheese, consider mixing shredded mozzarella or blue cheese into the filling.

Store leftover dumplings in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze them for up to 3 months.
