Caramel syrup, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, apple cider, cinnamon sticks, and cloves. Stir well.

  4. For serving glasses, rim with caramel syrup and dip in sanding sugar for garnish.
  5. Pour sangria into prepared glasses, making sure each serving includes apple slices.

Notes

Use sparkling wine or prosecco instead of white wine for extra bubbles.

For a sweeter version, stir in maple syrup.

For a non-alcoholic option, replace the wine with sparkling apple cider .

Chill overnight for deeper infused flavor.
