Ingredients

4 ears of corn, husked

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

2 cloves garlic, minced

0.5 teaspoon salt

0.5 teaspoon black pepper

0.5 teaspoon paprika (optional)

0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese

0.25 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika (if using).

  • Brush each ear of corn generously with the garlic butter mixture, coating all sides.

  • Place the corn on the grill or a baking sheet (if baking). Cook for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender and slightly charred.

  • Remove corn from heat and immediately sprinkle with Parmesan and mozzarella (or cheddar) cheese to melt from residual heat.

  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicy version, add chili powder or cayenne pepper to the butter mixture.

Try alternative cheeses like feta or Monterey Jack for different flavors.

Fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro can be mixed into the butter for added freshness.

Cooking over charcoal adds a smoky depth to the flavor.

Store leftovers in an airtight container refrigerated for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 10 minutes for best texture. Avoid microwaving.
