Rich and fudgy no-bake chocolate date balls made with Medjool dates, cacao powder, and optional vegan chocolate chips for a naturally sweet and energizing snack.

Ingredients

2 cups Medjool dates, pitted (at room temperature)

1/4 cup raw cacao powder

2 tablespoons vegan chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place pitted dates in a food processor and blend until a sticky paste forms.
  2. Add raw cacao powder and process until fully combined.
  3. If using chocolate chips, pulse them in at the end until evenly mixed.
  4. Scoop small portions and roll into bite-sized balls with your hands.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to firm up before serving.

Notes

Roll in shredded coconut, sesame seeds, or crushed nuts for extra texture.

Add a pinch of cinnamon or sea salt to enhance flavor.

Mix in nut butter or protein powder for added nutrition.

If dates are very dry, soak them in warm water for 10 minutes and drain well before processing.
