These homemade Cinnamon Apple Chips are a healthy, crunchy snack made with just two ingredients—apples and cinnamon. Perfect for a guilt-free snack, they’re easy to make and offer a delicious twist on traditional apple consumption.
3 medium apples (sliced to 1/8″ to 1/4″)
¾ tsp ground cinnamon (such as Private Selection)
Preheat the oven to 200°F (93°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Wash and core the apples, then slice them into thin, uniform slices (about 1/8″ to 1/4″ thick). The thinner the slices, the crispier the chips will be.
Arrange the apple slices in a single layer on the baking sheet, ensuring they don’t overlap.
Sprinkle the ground cinnamon evenly over the apple slices.
Bake the apple slices for 2–3 hours, flipping halfway through. Keep an eye on them after 2 hours to prevent burning.
Once the chips are crispy and golden, remove them from the oven and let them cool completely on the baking sheet.
Once cooled, enjoy your cinnamon apple chips!
Storage: Keep your apple chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. To keep them crispy, use a desiccant pack or vacuum-seal them.
Freezing: Store in the freezer for up to 3 months. Let them thaw at room temperature before eating.
Customizations: Add sugar for sweetness, or experiment with other spices like nutmeg or ginger for a unique twist.
