These homemade Cinnamon Apple Chips are a healthy, crunchy snack made with just two ingredients—apples and cinnamon. Perfect for a guilt-free snack, they’re easy to make and offer a delicious twist on traditional apple consumption.

Ingredients

3 medium apples (sliced to 1/8″ to 1/4″)

¾ tsp ground cinnamon (such as Private Selection)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 200°F (93°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

  • Wash and core the apples, then slice them into thin, uniform slices (about 1/8″ to 1/4″ thick). The thinner the slices, the crispier the chips will be.

  • Arrange the apple slices in a single layer on the baking sheet, ensuring they don’t overlap.

  • Sprinkle the ground cinnamon evenly over the apple slices.

  • Bake the apple slices for 2–3 hours, flipping halfway through. Keep an eye on them after 2 hours to prevent burning.

  • Once the chips are crispy and golden, remove them from the oven and let them cool completely on the baking sheet.

  • Once cooled, enjoy your cinnamon apple chips!

Notes

Storage: Keep your apple chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. To keep them crispy, use a desiccant pack or vacuum-seal them.

Freezing: Store in the freezer for up to 3 months. Let them thaw at room temperature before eating.

Customizations: Add sugar for sweetness, or experiment with other spices like nutmeg or ginger for a unique twist.
