A zesty and vibrant dip that balances the tartness of fresh cranberries with the heat of jalapeño, the creaminess of cream cheese, and the freshness of cilantro and green onion. Perfect for parties, game days, or holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

12 ounces fresh cranberries

1 jalapeño, roughly chopped (remove seeds for less heat)

½ cup granulated sugar

¼ cup fresh cilantro

¼ cup green onion, roughly chopped

1 tablespoon lime juice

⅛ teaspoon salt

16 ounces cream cheese, room temperature

Crackers, Wheat Thins, or pita chips for serving

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine cranberries, jalapeño, sugar, cilantro, green onion, lime juice, and salt. Pulse until finely chopped and well blended.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add cream cheese and fold gently until fully incorporated and smooth.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl and chill for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Serve with crackers, pita chips, or your favorite dippers.

Notes

Add roasted pepitas or chopped nuts for extra crunch.

Swap cilantro for parsley or chives for a milder herb flavor.

For a sweeter version, drizzle a little honey over the top before serving.

Make it vegan by using a plant-based cream cheese alternative.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Best served chilled; do not freeze.
