This Dubai chocolate strawberry cup is a decadent dessert that combines rich, velvety chocolate with fresh strawberries, pistachios, and an optional touch of edible gold leaf for a luxurious finish.

Ingredients

200g (7 oz) dark chocolate (60–70% cocoa), chopped

200ml (3/4 cup + 1 tbsp) heavy cream

2 tbsp unsalted butter

1 tbsp honey (optional, for extra silkiness)

Pinch of salt

46 fresh strawberries, halved

2 tbsp chopped pistachios (unsalted)

Edible gold leaf (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Gently heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until just about to simmer.
  2. Pour the hot cream over the chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
  3. Let sit for 1 minute, then stir until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  4. Add butter, honey, and a pinch of salt, stirring until the mixture is glossy and silky.
  5. Divide the chocolate filling into serving cups and refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours until set.
  6. Before serving, top each cup with strawberry halves, sprinkle with chopped pistachios, and optionally finish with edible gold leaf.

Notes

Use milk or white chocolate for different flavor variations.

Swap strawberries with raspberries, blueberries, or cherries.
