Ingredients

Salmon and Seasoning

  • 4 salmon fillets (5-6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Everything Bagel Seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Cream Cheese Sauce

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp milk or water (to thin as needed)
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Salad

  • 6 cups mixed greens
  • 1 cup cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 small red onion, very thinly sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/3 cup capers, drained
  • 4 radishes, thinly sliced

Salad Dressing

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Salmon: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. Season Salmon: Rub each salmon fillet with olive oil thoroughly. Generously sprinkle the Everything Bagel Seasoning evenly over the top of each fillet, pressing lightly so it adheres well. Season additionally with salt and pepper as desired.
  3. Bake Salmon: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the salmon for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets. Bake until the salmon turns opaque, flakes easily with a fork, and is cooked through.
  4. Prepare Cream Cheese Sauce: In a bowl or small food processor, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic. Whisk or blend until smooth. Gradually add milk or water one teaspoon at a time to thin the sauce to a drizzleable consistency. Stir in chopped fresh dill and season with salt and pepper to taste. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  5. Assemble Salad: In a large bowl, add mixed greens, thinly sliced cucumber, halved cherry tomatoes, very thinly sliced red onion, sliced avocado, thinly sliced radishes, and drained capers.
  6. Make Salad Dressing: Whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl until well combined.
  7. Toss Salad: Drizzle the dressing over the salad ingredients and toss lightly to coat evenly without bruising delicate items like avocado.
  8. Plate and Serve: Divide the tossed salad evenly onto plates or arrange on a large serving dish. Place the baked salmon fillets over the salad. Drizzle generously with the prepared cream cheese sauce. Garnish with extra capers or fresh dill if desired and serve immediately.

  • The Everything Bagel Seasoning may contain sesame seeds, poppy seeds, garlic, and onion; verify if you have any allergies.
