Ingredients

2 pounds frozen meatballs

12 ounces chili sauce

1 1/2 cups grape jelly

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan or slow cooker, combine the chili sauce and grape jelly.

  2. Stir the mixture over medium heat until the grape jelly is fully melted and the sauce is smooth.

  3. Add the frozen meatballs to the sauce, stirring gently to coat each meatball in the sauce.

  4. If using a saucepan, simmer the meatballs over low heat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. If using a slow cooker, cook on low for 2 to 3 hours or on high for 1 to 1.5 hours, until the meatballs are heated through and the sauce has thickened.

  5. Serve the meatballs hot as an appetizer or main dish.

Notes

Spicy Twist: Add a dash of hot sauce or red pepper flakes for some heat.

Fruit Jam: Substitute grape jelly with strawberry or apricot jam for a different flavor.

Add Vegetables: Try adding bell peppers or onions to the sauce for extra flavor.
