Grilled Peaches are a quick and elegant dessert where ripe peaches are lightly grilled to caramelize their natural sweetness, then served warm with honey, nuts, or ice cream.

Ingredients

4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted

1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter, for brushing

2 tbsp honey, for drizzling (optional)

1 cup vanilla ice cream (optional)

1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans, toasted if desired (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grates.
  2. Brush cut sides of peaches with olive oil or melted butter.
  3. Place peaches cut-side down on the grill and cook for 3–4 minutes until grill marks appear and fruit softens slightly.
  4. Flip and grill for another 2–3 minutes on the skin side.
  5. Serve warm with a drizzle of honey, a scoop of ice cream, and a sprinkle of toasted nuts if desired.

Notes

Sprinkle cinnamon or nutmeg on peaches before grilling for extra flavor.

Top with Greek yogurt instead of ice cream for a lighter option.

Add a savory twist with balsamic glaze, basil, or goat cheese.

Nectarines can be used in place of peaches.

Best enjoyed fresh off the grill but can be served at room temperature.
