1 cup (100 g) cocoa powder

1/2 cup (50 g) cornstarch (or arrowroot powder)

Pinch of salt

1 teaspoon cinnamon

7 oz (200 g) dark chocolate, chopped (or chocolate chips)

Instructions

  1. Sift together cocoa powder, cornstarch, powdered sugar, salt, and cinnamon into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chips and stir until evenly combined.
  3. Transfer the mix into an airtight jar or container for storage.
  4. To prepare: heat 1 cup plant-based milk, whisk in 2–3 tablespoons of mix, and stir until smooth and creamy.

Add cayenne pepper for a spicy Mexican-style twist.

Mix in peppermint extract for a festive flavor.

For extra creaminess, stir in coconut cream with the hot milk.
