1–1¼ lbs salmon, cut into 4–5 oz fillets
2 tablespoons avocado or olive oil
2 tablespoons honey, sugar, or pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce or Tamari
½ teaspoon ginger paste or finely minced fresh ginger
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon salt, to taste
1–2 teaspoons sriracha sauce (or other hot sauce)
Add lime juice for extra brightness.
Increase sriracha or add red pepper flakes for more heat.
Use more honey for a milder flavor.
Top with sesame seeds or green onions before serving.
Reheat gently in the oven at 300°F to keep the salmon moist.
