Matcha Overnight Oats are a healthy, energizing breakfast packed with antioxidants. The creamy combination of oats, chia seeds, matcha, yogurt, and maple syrup makes for a nutritious and filling breakfast that’s easy to prepare the night before.

Ingredients

2 cups rolled oats

4 tablespoons chia seeds

4 teaspoons matcha powder

1 pinch salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

23 tablespoons maple syrup

1 cup yogurt

2 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, matcha powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.
  2. Add Wet Ingredients: Add the vanilla extract, maple syrup, yogurt, and milk to the dry ingredients. Stir everything together until well mixed.
  3. Refrigerate: Transfer the mixture to a container or divide it into individual jars. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or for at least 4-6 hours) to allow the oats to absorb the liquid and thicken.
  4. Serve: In the morning, give the oats a good stir before serving. You can enjoy them as is or add your favorite toppings like fresh fruit, nuts, or additional maple syrup.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, use almond milk, oat milk, or coconut milk and plant-based yogurt.

Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup, or substitute with honey, agave, or stevia.

Top with fresh fruits like berries, banana slices, or a sprinkle of nuts and seeds for added texture and flavor.

You can freeze overnight oats for up to 1 month. Thaw overnight in the fridge before serving.
