This No-Bake Chocolate Tart features a rich, creamy chocolate ganache filling set atop a crunchy Oreo cookie crust. Topped with fresh berries and a dusting of powdered sugar, it’s an indulgent yet simple dessert perfect for any occasion without requiring an oven.

Ingredients

Oreo Crust

  • 25 Oreo cookies
  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Chocolate Ganache Filling

  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar (more if needed)

Topping

  • 1 cup mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, or strawberries)
  • 1 tsp powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oreo Crust: Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a sealed bag and crushing with a rolling pin. Mix the crumbs thoroughly with the melted unsalted butter until evenly combined. Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom and slightly up the sides of a tart pan to form the crust. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set.
  2. Make the Chocolate Ganache Filling: In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer, but do not boil. Remove from heat and pour over the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl. Let it sit for 2 minutes to soften the chocolate, then gently stir until smooth and glossy. Stir in the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until fully combined and silky. Adjust sweetness if desired by adding more sugar.
  3. Assemble the Tart: Pour the chocolate ganache filling evenly over the chilled Oreo crust, smoothing the surface with a spatula. Refrigerate the tart for at least 2 hours or until the ganache is firm to the touch.
  4. Add Toppings: Wash and dry the berries. Arrange them attractively over the set ganache. Just before serving, dust the tart lightly with powdered sugar for an elegant finish.
  5. Serve: Slice the tart with a sharp knife, cleaning the blade between cuts for clean pieces. Serve chilled or at room temperature for a luscious, decadent dessert experience.

Notes

  • Ensure the butter is fully melted and mixed well with the Oreo crumbs to achieve a firm crust.
  • Do not overheat the cream to prevent separation of the ganache.
  • The tart must be refrigerated long enough for the ganache to set properly.
  • Use fresh, ripe berries for the best flavor and visual appeal.
  • For added texture, consider sprinkling chopped nuts or toasted coconut on the ganache before adding berries.
