Sweet and chewy dates stuffed with hazelnut butter (or Nutella) and coated in rich dark chocolate. An easy, wholesome, and indulgent treat perfect for snacking, dessert, or gifting.

Ingredients

510 Joolies dates, pitted

Hazelnut butter (or Nutella)

Dark chocolate, melted

Instructions

  1. Slice each pitted date lengthwise to create a small pocket without cutting all the way through.
  2. Spoon or pipe a little hazelnut butter (or Nutella) into the center of each date.
  3. Dip or drizzle with melted dark chocolate until coated or lightly covered.
  4. Place dates on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for 15–20 minutes, or until chocolate hardens.
  5. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Sprinkle sea salt, crushed hazelnuts, shredded coconut, or cocoa powder for added flavor and texture.

Swap hazelnut butter with almond butter, peanut butter, or tahini for variation.

Add a roasted nut inside the date before dipping for extra crunch.

Use dairy-free dark chocolate for a vegan version.
