This Pineapple Coconut Water recipe is a tropical, naturally hydrating drink made with fresh pineapple and electrolyte-rich coconut water. Lightly sweetened and blended to perfection, it’s an easy, refreshing beverage loaded with vitamin C, antioxidants, and digestion-supporting bromelain—perfect as a post-workout drink, morning boost, or cooling afternoon refresher.

Ingredients

2 cups fresh pineapple chunks (or 100% pineapple juice)

2 cups coconut water

1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional)

Ice cubes

Pineapple slices (for garnish)

Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Blend & Sweeten: In a blender, combine fresh pineapple, coconut water, and sweetener if using. Blend until smooth.

  2. Strain (Optional): For a smoother texture, strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove pulp. You can skip this for extra fiber.

  3. Serve Chilled: Fill glasses with ice, pour the drink over, and garnish with pineapple slices and mint leaves.

  4. Optional Sparkling Twist: Substitute half the coconut water with sparkling water just before serving for a fizzy variation.

Notes

Add Zest: Include 1–2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice or ginger juice for added flavor and digestion support.

Make a Slushie: Use frozen pineapple chunks instead of fresh for a slushy-style drink.

Detox Infusion: Skip blending—just add pineapple chunks to coconut water and refrigerate for a light infused detox drink.

Sweetener Tip: Taste before adding sweetener—ripe pineapple may provide all the sweetness you need.

Texture Tip: Straining removes pulp for a juice-like consistency; skipping it boosts fiber content.
