A tender, flaky salmon fillet topped with a crunchy pistachio crust and lightly sweetened with honey or maple syrup. This elegant yet easy dish is perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

1300 g salmon fillet, pin bones removed

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 garlic cloves, minced

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

Salt and pepper, to taste

½ cup shelled pistachios, chopped

1 lemon, cut into wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place salmon fillet on a parchment-lined baking sheet and pat dry.
  3. Brush top with olive oil and rub in minced garlic.
  4. Drizzle honey or maple syrup evenly over salmon.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Sprinkle chopped pistachios over the top, pressing gently to adhere.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes, until salmon flakes easily with a fork and pistachios are golden.
  8. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
