A modern take on tiramisu with matcha-soaked ladyfingers, creamy mascarpone filling, and a matcha milk pour for a refreshing, café-style dessert.

Ingredients

4 ladyfingers

Matcha powder, for dusting

1/3 cup (80 ml) hot water

1/2 tbsp matcha powder

1/2 tbsp granulated sugar

1 tbsp dark rum (optional)

2 1/2 tbsp (40 g) mascarpone cheese

1/4 cup (60 ml) heavy whipping cream

1 tbsp confectioners’ sugar

1/2 tbsp matcha powder

1/8 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp (30 ml) heavy whipping cream (for milk pour)

2 tbsp (30 ml) milk (for milk pour)

Matcha powder (for milk pour)

Instructions

  1. Whisk hot water, matcha powder, sugar, and rum (if using) until smooth; let cool slightly.
  2. Dip ladyfingers quickly into syrup without oversoaking.
  3. Arrange soaked ladyfingers in a serving bowl or glass.
  4. Whip heavy cream with confectioners’ sugar until soft peaks form.
  5. Fold in mascarpone, matcha powder, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  6. Spoon mascarpone cream over ladyfingers.
  7. Mix heavy cream and milk to prepare the milk pour.
  8. Pour milk mixture over cream layer just before serving.
  9. Dust generously with matcha powder.

Notes

Add white chocolate sauce to the milk pour for extra sweetness.

Layer with fresh berries for a fruity variation.

Double matcha in mascarpone cream for a stronger flavor.

Best enjoyed fresh since the milk pour softens the ladyfingers quickly.

Assemble just before serving for best texture.
