Rosemary Sea Salt Crackers

Crisp and fragrant homemade crackers infused with fresh rosemary and sea salt. These easy-to-make snacks are perfect for pairing with cheese, dips, or enjoying on their own.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp coarse sea salt

1 tsp sugar

1 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped

1 1/2 tbsp olive oil

1/2 cup water

Extra sea salt, for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sea salt, sugar, and chopped rosemary.
  3. Stir in olive oil and water until a dough forms.
  4. Knead lightly on a floured surface until smooth, then roll dough very thin (about 1/8 inch or less).
  5. Cut dough into squares or rectangles using a knife or pizza cutter.
  6. Transfer to baking sheet, prick each cracker with a fork, and sprinkle with extra sea salt if desired.
  7. Bake 12–15 minutes, until golden and crisp.
  8. Cool completely before serving.

Notes

Add cracked black pepper for a spicy twist.

Swap rosemary with thyme or oregano for different herbal flavors.

Mix in nutritional yeast or vegan parmesan for cheesy crackers.

Brush with olive oil after baking for extra richness.

Re-crisp in the oven if they lose crunch.
