Sheet Pan Sweet Chili Salmon is a simple, flavorful baked salmon dish coated in a sticky, spicy-sweet glaze made with sweet chili sauce, grainy Dijon mustard, chili garlic sauce, and honey. Baked on one pan for easy cleanup, this recipe delivers tender, moist fish with a perfectly caramelized crust.

Ingredients

1.5 to 2 lbs skin-on salmon

2 to 3 tbsp olive oil

½ cup sweet chili sauce

¼ cup grainy Dijon mustard (with mustard seeds)

1 to 2 tbsp chili garlic sauce (adjust to taste)

2 to 3 tbsp honey

Lemon juice (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or foil; lightly grease with olive oil.

  • Place salmon skin-side down on the pan.

  • Whisk together sweet chili sauce, Dijon mustard, chili garlic sauce, honey, and olive oil until smooth.

  • Brush sauce generously over salmon fillets.

  • Bake 12–15 minutes until salmon flakes easily and glaze caramelizes.

  • Optional: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over salmon before serving.

Notes

Reduce or omit chili garlic sauce for less heat.

Add red pepper flakes for extra spice.

Incorporate orange or lime zest for citrus notes.

Garnish with chopped cilantro or parsley.

Can use chili sauce and honey if sweet chili sauce is unavailable.

Firm fish like cod or halibut can substitute salmon.
