This Spiked Apple Cider Cocktail is a festive and cozy drink made with apple cider, gin (or your spirit of choice), honey syrup, lime juice, and a hint of cinnamon. It’s refreshing, slightly sweet, and perfect for fall gatherings or a relaxing evening at home.

Ingredients

4 ounces gin (or liquor of choice: bourbon, rum)

4 ounces apple cider

1 ounce fresh lime juice

2 ounces honey simple syrup

12 dashes cinnamon

Honey Simple Syrup:

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup hot water

Optional Garnishes:

2 thyme sprigs

1/2 apple, cut into matchsticks

2 cinnamon sticks

Instructions

  1. Prepare honey simple syrup by whisking honey and hot water until dissolved. Let cool.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add gin (or chosen liquor), apple cider, lime juice, honey syrup, and a dash of cinnamon.
  3. Shake well until chilled, then strain into a glass filled with ice.
  4. Garnish with thyme sprigs, apple matchsticks, or a cinnamon stick.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

Swap gin for bourbon or rum for a warmer flavor for something lighter.

Add club soda  for a sparkling version.

Increase cinnamon or add nutmeg for extra spice.

Honey syrup can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Mix cocktails fresh for best flavor, but prep syrup ahead.
