A bright and refreshing cocktail made with strawberry-infused Aperol, gin, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Fruity, floral, and citrusy, it’s an elegant drink perfect for summer or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • Strawberry Infused Aperol:
  • 1½ cups sliced strawberries
  • 750 ml Aperol
  • Simple Syrup:
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • Strawberry Aperol Cocktail:
  • 1 oz strawberry infused Aperol
  • 1 oz gin
  • ½ oz elderflower liqueur
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • ½ oz lemon juice
  • Fresh strawberries, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Make infused Aperol: Combine sliced strawberries and Aperol in a jar. Seal and infuse 24–48 hours, then strain.
  2. Make simple syrup: Combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Heat until sugar dissolves, then cool completely.
  3. Fill shaker with ice. Add infused Aperol, gin, elderflower liqueur, simple syrup, and lemon juice.
  4. Shake until well chilled and strain into a coupe or cocktail glass.
  5. Garnish with a fresh strawberry.

Notes

  • Top with prosecco or soda water for a spritz-style variation.
  • Increase elderflower liqueur for more floral notes.
  • Add grapefruit juice for extra tartness.
  • Frozen strawberries work well for infusion and may infuse faster.
  • Serve in a coupe, Nick & Nora, or rocks glass with ice.
