Strawberry Santas are a delightful and festive no-bake holiday treat featuring fresh strawberries filled with a sweetened whipped cream cheese mixture and decorated with icing to create charming Santa faces. Perfect for Christmas parties and family gatherings, these cute and tasty treats are simple to make and visually appealing.

Ingredients

Filling

  • 1 cup whipped cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Decoration

  • 12 large strawberries
  • Decorative red and black icing for the face

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberries: Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly. Slice off the green leafy tops and cut a thin slice off the bottom so they sit flat.
  2. Make the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the whipped cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Assemble the Strawberry Santas: Using a small spoon or piping bag, fill the hollowed top of each strawberry with the cream cheese mixture. Place the sliced-off strawberry top back on to resemble Santa’s hat.
  4. Decorate the faces: Use the red icing to add details on Santa’s hat and the black icing to create eyes and other facial features on each strawberry.
  5. Chill and serve: Refrigerate the Strawberry Santas for at least 30 minutes to allow the filling to set. Serve chilled for best flavor and presentation.

Notes

  • Use fresh, firm strawberries for easier assembly and better appearance.
  • Whipped cream cheese can be substituted with mascarpone or cream cheese softened and whipped for similar results.
  • Decorative icing can be purchased pre-made or easily prepared using colored royal icing or gel food coloring.
  • These treats are best consumed within a day for freshness.
  • To make preparation easier, use a piping bag or plastic sandwich bag with a corner snipped off to fill the strawberries neatly.
