Refresh and cool off with this Summer Sparkling Lemonade, the perfect fizzy, zesty drink for hot days! Made with freshly squeezed lemon juice, a touch of sweetness, and sparkling water for that bubbly twist, this homemade lemonade is a crowd-pleaser. Perfect for summer parties, BBQs, or any occasion when you need a refreshing beverage.
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
3 cups cold sparkling water or club soda
1 cup cold water
Ice cubes
Lemon and lime slices, for garnish
Fresh mint leaves (optional)
In a pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Add the cold water and stir to mix everything together.
Pour in the sparkling water or club soda, and gently stir to combine without losing too much fizz.
Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the lemonade over the ice.
Garnish with lemon and lime slices, and if desired, add a few fresh mint leaves for an extra refreshing touch.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Storage: Leftover lemonade can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, but it’s best enjoyed immediately for maximum fizz.
Sweetener Options: If you prefer, use honey, agave, or a sugar substitute like stevia to adjust sweetness.
Flavored Lemonade: Add fruit juices (raspberry, strawberry, blueberry) for different flavor variations.
