Made with freshly squeezed lemon juice, a touch of sweetness, and sparkling water for that bubbly twist, this homemade lemonade is a crowd-pleaser. Perfect for summer parties, BBQs, or any occasion when you need a refreshing beverage.

1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 46 lemons)

1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

3 cups cold sparkling water or club soda

1 cup cold water

Ice cubes

Lemon and lime slices, for garnish

Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  • In a pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.

  • Add the cold water and stir to mix everything together.

  • Pour in the sparkling water or club soda, and gently stir to combine without losing too much fizz.

  • Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the lemonade over the ice.

  • Garnish with lemon and lime slices, and if desired, add a few fresh mint leaves for an extra refreshing touch.

  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Storage: Leftover lemonade can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, but it’s best enjoyed immediately for maximum fizz.

Sweetener Options: If you prefer, use honey, agave, or a sugar substitute like stevia to adjust sweetness.

Flavored Lemonade: Add fruit juices (raspberry, strawberry, blueberry) for different flavor variations.

Herb Variations: You can experiment with other herbs like basil or thyme.
