These Turkey Sliders are the perfect bite-sized treat for any gathering, featuring savory turkey, creamy Havarti cheese, and a tangy, buttery glaze. Ideal for using up leftover turkey or making with fresh slices, these sliders are easy to prepare and always a crowd-pleaser. A hit for parties, tailgating, or casual meals!

Ingredients

12 party rolls

12 slices cooked turkey breast (leftover turkey slices work great)

6 slices Havarti cheese

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

½ tablespoon Dijon mustard

½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon dried onion, minced

1 ½ teaspoons poppy seeds

Sea salt flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Prepare the Rolls: Slice the party rolls in half horizontally without separating them. Lay the bottom half of the rolls in a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  3. Assemble the Sliders: Layer the turkey slices on the bottom half of the rolls. Then, place a slice of Havarti cheese on top of each turkey slice.

  4. Make the Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, minced dried onion, poppy seeds, and a pinch of sea salt flakes.

  5. Glaze the Sliders: Pour the butter mixture evenly over the turkey and cheese layers.

  6. Top with Rolls: Place the top half of the rolls over the turkey and cheese to complete the sliders.

  7. Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the cheese has melted.

  8. Serve: Let the sliders cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Herb Butter Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine softened butter with parsley, garlic, lemon zest, and thyme.

  2. Mix well and roll into a log using plastic wrap. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

Variations: Swap Havarti for Swiss, cheddar, or provolone. Add cranberry sauce for a festive touch or sliced jalapeños for some heat.

Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Reheating: Reheat by wrapping in foil and baking at 350°F for 10-15 minutes, or microwave individual sliders for 30-45 seconds.
