Ingredients

French Fries

  • 12 Ounces French fries (seasoned)

Beef and Seasoning

  • 1 Pound ground beef
  • 1 Teaspoon salt
  • ½ Teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ Teaspoon garlic powder

Salad

  • 6 Cups iceberg lettuce (chopped)
  • 1 Cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • ½ Cup dill pickles (chopped slices)
  • ½ Cup white onion (finely diced)
  • 1 Cup cheddar cheese (shredded)

Special Sauce

  • ½ Cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 Tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon dill pickle relish
  • 1 Teaspoon white vinegar
  • ½ Teaspoon ground paprika
  • ¼ Teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Cook the Fries: Bake the French fries according to package directions until golden and crispy. Set aside once done.
  2. Prepare the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until browned and no pink remains, about 8-10 minutes. Drain excess grease if necessary and let the meat cool slightly.
  3. Make the Special Sauce: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, dill pickle relish, white vinegar, ground paprika, and garlic powder until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  4. Assemble the Big Mac Salad: Divide the chopped iceberg lettuce, cherry tomatoes, pickles, diced white onion, shredded cheddar cheese, and warm ground beef evenly between 4 serving bowls. Add the baked French fries to each bowl on top or alongside.
  5. Serve: Serve the salad immediately, with the special sauce either on the side or drizzled over the salad according to preference.

Notes

  • Use fresh or frozen French fries depending on availability; seasoning can be adjusted to taste.
  • Drain the beef well to avoid a greasy salad.
  • The special sauce can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to 3 days.
  • For a lower calorie version, use reduced-fat mayonnaise and cheese.
  • Serve immediately after assembling to keep fries crispy.
