Ingredients

Whipped Coffee Topping

  • 2 Tbsp hot tap water

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a balloon whisk attachment, add the instant coffee granules, granulated sugar, and hot tap water. If using hand electric beaters, place these ingredients in a regular mixing bowl.
  2. Whip Coffee Mixture: Start blending the mixture on low speed at first to combine, then increase to high speed. Beat continuously until the mixture becomes thick, glossy, and forms stiff peaks. This process usually takes about 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Prepare Glasses: Fill two glasses with ice cubes to your liking, then pour whole milk into each glass until about three-quarters full.
  4. Assemble Drink: Spoon generous dollops of the whipped coffee mixture over the milk in each glass. Use the back of a spoon to smooth out the tops for a neat finish.
