A refreshing and healthy Detox Apple Cider Vinegar Drink made with pineapple, raw honey, apple cider vinegar, and a blend of spices. This invigorating beverage helps cleanse your system and is perfect for boosting metabolism and aiding digestion.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup pineapple chunks or ½ cup 100% pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey or pure maple syrup
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, adjust to taste
  • 2 fresh mint leaves, chopped, plus extra to garnish
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne powder
  • ¼ to ½ teaspoon ground turmeric, adjust to taste
  • ½ teaspoon grated ginger (optional)
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 6 to 12 ounces sparkling water, to taste
  • Optional: crushed ice and/or sliced lime to garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the base mixture: If using diced pineapple, place pineapple chunks, raw honey or maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, chopped mint leaves, cayenne powder, turmeric, grated ginger (if using), and lime juice into a blender. Blend until smooth and well combined. If using pineapple juice instead, combine all ingredients except sparkling water, ice, and sliced lime in a bowl and whisk thoroughly until blended.
  2. Store the concentrate: Pour the blended or whisked concentrated mixture into an airtight bottle or container. Store it in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks to maintain freshness and flavor.
  3. Serve the drink: When ready to drink, pour a serving of the concentrate into a glass, add sparkling water starting with 6 ounces and adjust to taste. Add crushed ice if desired. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and sliced lime for an extra refreshing touch.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of apple cider vinegar to suit your taste preference, starting with less if you prefer a milder tang.
  • Use raw honey or pure maple syrup for natural sweetness; adjust quantity based on desired sweetness level.
  • Turmeric and cayenne add anti-inflammatory benefits and a subtle spice, but can be adjusted or omitted depending on tolerance.
  • Adding grated ginger is optional but adds a nice zing and digestive benefits.
  • Store the concentrate in the fridge for up to 6 weeks; always shake or stir before serving if stored for a while.
  • Use sparkling water just before serving to keep the drink fizzy and refreshing.
