A quick and refreshing grape salad made with green and red seedless grapes, tossed in a creamy vanilla dressing featuring nonfat Greek yogurt and reduced-fat cream cheese, topped with crunchy chopped pecans. Perfect as a light dessert or a healthy snack, ready in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients

Fruit

  • 2 1/2 cups green seedless grapes (about 1 pound), sliced in half horizontally
  • 2 1/2 cups red seedless grapes (about 1 pound), sliced in half horizontally

Nuts

  • 3/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans (plus a few extra for garnish, if desired)

Dressing

  • 3/4 cup nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons reduced-fat cream cheese (Neufchâtel cheese), softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/16 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruit and nuts: Place the halved green and red grapes along with the chopped pecan pieces into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Make the dressing: In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt, brown sugar, softened reduced-fat cream cheese, vanilla extract, and kosher salt until smooth and well combined.
  3. Combine salad: Pour the prepared dressing over the grapes and pecans in the large bowl. Gently stir until the dressing is evenly distributed throughout the salad.
  4. Serve or store: Garnish the top of the salad with a few extra chopped pecans if desired. Serve immediately for best texture and freshness or refrigerate for up to 3-5 days to make ahead.

Notes

  • You can prepare this grape salad up to 3-5 days in advance and store it in the refrigerator to enhance the flavors.
  • For a richer taste, substitute reduced-fat cream cheese with full-fat cream cheese if preferred.
  • Make sure to slice grapes horizontally to ensure the dressing coats them well.
  • Use kosher salt for a cleaner salt flavor, but table salt can be used in a pinch (adjust quantity accordingly).
