For the Lobster Tails:
2 large lobster tails, split in half
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)
For the Fries:
2 large russet potatoes, cut into fries
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon paprika
For the Creamy Sauce:
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon lemon juice
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
Prepare the Fries:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Toss the cut fries in olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Spread them evenly on a baking sheet.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are golden brown and crispy.
Prepare the Lobster Tails:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
Brush the lobster tails with the butter mixture, making sure to coat them well.
Place the lobster tails on the grill, cut side down, and cook for about 5-7 minutes. Flip them over and grill for an additional 3-5 minutes until the lobster meat is opaque and slightly charred.
Make the Creamy Sauce:
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and hot sauce (if using). Stir well until smooth and creamy.
Serve:
Plate the grilled lobster tails and crispy fries. Drizzle the creamy sauce over the fries or serve it on the side for dipping.
Garnish the lobster tails with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Grilled Veggies: Add a side of grilled vegetables, such as asparagus or bell peppers, to complement the lobster and fries.
Spicy Fries: Toss the fries in a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili powder for a spicy kick.
Lobster Tail Dipping Sauce: For a richer lobster dipping sauce, add a bit of melted butter and fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary to your creamy sauce.
