Ingredients

For the Lobster Tails:

2 large lobster tails, split in half

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)

For the Fries:

2 large russet potatoes, cut into fries

2 tablespoons olive oil

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon paprika

For the Creamy Sauce:

¼ cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon lemon juice

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Fries:

    • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

    • Toss the cut fries in olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Spread them evenly on a baking sheet.

    • Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are golden brown and crispy.

  2. Prepare the Lobster Tails:

    • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

    • In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.

    • Brush the lobster tails with the butter mixture, making sure to coat them well.

    • Place the lobster tails on the grill, cut side down, and cook for about 5-7 minutes. Flip them over and grill for an additional 3-5 minutes until the lobster meat is opaque and slightly charred.

  3. Make the Creamy Sauce:

    • In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and hot sauce (if using). Stir well until smooth and creamy.

  4. Serve:

    • Plate the grilled lobster tails and crispy fries. Drizzle the creamy sauce over the fries or serve it on the side for dipping.

    • Garnish the lobster tails with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Grilled Veggies: Add a side of grilled vegetables, such as asparagus or bell peppers, to complement the lobster and fries.

Spicy Fries: Toss the fries in a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili powder for a spicy kick.

Lobster Tail Dipping Sauce: For a richer lobster dipping sauce, add a bit of melted butter and fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary to your creamy sauce.
