The Limoncello Mojito is a vibrant, citrusy twist on the classic mojito, combining fresh lime juice, mint, white rum, and the sweet, lemony flavor of limoncello. Topped with club soda for a refreshing fizz, this cocktail is perfect for warm weather and casual gatherings, offering a light and effervescent drink that will keep you coming back for more.

 

Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

1 1/2 oz white rum

1 oz limoncello

3/4 oz fresh lime juice

1/2 oz simple syrup

68 fresh mint leaves

Club soda

Ice cubes

Garnish:

Lime slices

Mint sprigs

Instructions

  1. Muddle the Mint: In a cocktail shaker, gently muddle the mint leaves with lime juice and simple syrup to release the oils from the mint.

  2. Add the Spirits: Add the white rum and limoncello to the shaker with the muddled mint and lime mixture. Fill the shaker with ice.

  3. Shake: Secure the lid and shake for 10-15 seconds to combine and chill the ingredients.

  4. Prepare the Glass: Fill a highball or rocks glass with ice.

  5. Strain and Pour: Strain the mixture from the shaker into the glass over the ice.

  6. Top with Club Soda: Add a splash of club soda and stir gently.

  7. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with lime slices and fresh mint sprigs. Serve immediately.
