This viral strawberry bark is a delightful and visually stunning treat combining thinly sliced strawberries arranged in flower shapes, coated with dairy-free chocolate and creamy peanut butter, and topped with cacao nibs, crushed peanuts, and flaky sea salt. Perfect for a refreshing, no-bake dessert or snack that’s both colorful and delicious.

Ingredients

Fruit

  • 6-8 strawberries (thinly sliced)

Chocolate & Toppings

  • 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • Cacao nibs (to sprinkle on top)
  • Crushed peanuts (to sprinkle on top, optional)
  • Flakey sea salt

Instructions

  1. Slice Strawberries: Thinly slice the strawberries and arrange the slices in flower shapes on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet or a flat serving dish, using about 5 slices per flower with the tips facing the center.
  2. Melt Chocolate: Heat the dairy-free dark chocolate chips with a small spoonful of coconut oil until melted and smooth. Spoon melted chocolate over each strawberry flower shape.
  3. Freeze and Add Peanut Butter: Place the baking sheet in the freezer for 3-5 minutes to firm up the chocolate, then add dollops of creamy peanut butter over the chocolate.
  4. Mix & Add Toppings: Gently stir/pattern over the peanut butter, sprinkle cacao nibs and/or crushed peanuts on top, then return the tray to the freezer until the peanut butter hardens, about 20-30 minutes.
  5. Finish and Serve: Remove from freezer, sprinkle flaky sea salt over the bark, and enjoy immediately or transfer to the fridge/room temperature for softened strawberries.
  6. Storage: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to one month.

Notes

  • Use dairy-free chocolate chips to keep the recipe vegan and dairy-free.
  • Crushed peanuts are optional but add a nice crunch.
  • Flaky sea salt complements the sweetness by enhancing the flavors.
  • You can store the bark frozen or refrigerated depending on desired texture of strawberries.
  • For a nut-free version, substitute peanut butter with sunflower seed butter and omit crushed peanuts.
